After this date, residents can contact Emterra for any recycling collection inquiries. They can be contacted for:

Other recycling questions
Emterra can be contacted by email at customercareont@emterra.ca, or by telephone at 1-888-597-1541
Curbside recycling collection will take place every second week on the same day as your garbage collection. To find your garbage/recycling collection date, view the Waste Management Calendar on our Recycle Coach page.
The Township employs a single-stream recycling program, which means all recyclables are collected in one bin and sorted and processed at the recycling facility.
Remember:
- Residents are not required to sort their recycling in separate containers. All recyclables can be placed in the same bin.
- During the winter months, please ensure your recycling is free of snow and ice and visible.
- Secure your recyclables to ensure loose paper and light materials remain in recycle bins.
- Emptied and dried paint cans can be placed for recycling
- Garbage and recycling collection begins at 7:00 a.m. on your collection day. Please ensure all items are placed at the curb prior to 7:00 a.m.
- Flatten cardboard and set beside recycling bin in bundles of no more than 1m x 1m x 30 cm.
Garbage and Recycling Collection on Holidays
If a holiday falls on a Monday, there is no change to garbage and recycling schedules. The Waste Management Calendar on our Recycle Coach page provides detailed information about collection schedules.
