As Saturday, September 30th is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the Township Office will be closed on Monday, October 2 to commemorate. There will be NO CHANGES to garbage or recycling collection due to the holiday.
The Township flag at the Township Office has been replaced with the "Every Child Matters" flag and staff will wear orange ribbons throughout the week of September 25-29 as a reminder to take the time to consider the impacts our First Nations have had on our country and to reflect on the atrocities of the Residential School system. .

Bones of Crows is an epic story of resilience told through the eyes of Cree matriarch Aline Spears. As a young child, she and her siblings are taken from their home in Manitoba and forced into Canada's residential school system. The film recounts the decades of systemic abuse of Indigenous Peoples.
