Council Meetings Set to Resume Public In-person Attendance

Township Council Meetings will once again allow in-person attendance beginning with the Regular Council Meeting of Wednesday, March 9, 2022.
Those attending Council Meetings in-person must wear a mask and perform a self screening process before entering the building.

South Stormont issues two property tax bills a year - an interim bill in March and a final bill in July.

Spring Half-Load Restrictions Begin March 10

Spring is almost here – that means half-load season in the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry begins soon.
The Counties and its partners among local municipalities and the City of Cornwall have designated March 10 as the start of half-load season. The Counties will be limiting the weight of materials to five tonnes per axle on the weaker roads located throughout the region.
