Summer Events Program

Hey there, sunshine seekers! Get ready to dive into the coolest summer ever in South Stormont! We've whipped up a sizzling calendar packed with epic adventures just for you! From groovy Tie Dye sessions to cuddly Teddy Bear Picnics, majestic Royal Tea Parties, to family-friendly movie nights under the stars — we've got it all! And hey, if you're itching to join the fun behind the scenes, we've got awesome volunteer gigs waiting just for you! Summer's been calling our names, and we've been counting down the days to share it with all of you! Who's ready to make memories?

Registration is required for most events. Registration will open at noon 2 weeks prior to the event and will close at noon 1 week before the event. Spaces are limited. Some events have multiple sessions in order to accommodate more participants. Please only register for one session per event. 

*Please only register participants, parents do not need to register. Our program capacities have accounted for parents attending the program.

Help us decorate the paved path in Long Sault! You don't want to miss this fun-filled afternoon! Registration will open June 19th and close June 26th.

 Camping Adventure - July 4

Calling all little adventurers! Pack your bags and let's embark on a camping journey full of fun, discovery, and plenty of s'more memories to be made! Can’t wait to see you there! Registration will open June 20th and close June 27th.

 Tie Dye Day - July 5 - $7

Brighten up a white t-shirt on Tie Dye day! Using our wide range of colors you can make your shirt unique. Can’t wait to see you there! Registration will open June 21st and close June 28th.

Splash Pad - July 8

Come cool off at the splash pad! There will be water balloons and freezies! Registration will open June 24th and close July 1st.

 Star Wars Day - July 9

May the FUN be with you! Join our galaxy of young Jedi for an epic Star Wars adventure! Registration will open June 25th and close July 2nd.

Basketball Bash - July 10

Dribble, pass, shoot! Come demonstrate your skills in this epic showdown!! Registration will open June 26th and close July 3rd.

Green Thumb - July 11 - $3

Planting seeds of fun: get your green thumbs ready for a kid-friendly gardening adventure! Registration will open June 27th and close July 4th.

Capture the Flag - July 15

Run on down to decorate your team's flag and demonstrate your athletic skills as you protect it. Don't forget your running shoes and water bottle. Registration will open July 1st and close July 8th.

 Teddy Bear Picnic - July 16 - $3

Bring your favorite stuffed animal down to the Teddy Bear Picnic! We are BEARy excited for this event! Snacks will be provided. Registration will open July 2nd and close July 9th.

 Cupcake Craze - July 17 - $3

Sundae Funday - July 18 - $3

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! We will have loads of toppings to choose from! Registration will open July 4th and close July 11th.

 Escape Room - July 22 - $3

Dive into adventure with our Under the Sea Escape Room! Can you solve the ocean's mysteries and escape before the tide rolls in? Registration will open July 8th and close July 15th.

 Summer Olympics - July 23

Calling all athletes! Jump, throw, run your way over to the gold medal! Don't forget your running shoes and water. Registration will open July 9th and close July 16th.

Splash Pad - July 24

Come cool off at another splash pad day! There will be water balloons and freezies! Registration will open July 10th and close July 17th.

Giant Slip n' Slide - July 26 - $3

Join us as we slip n' slide down the biggest hill in town. Bring your bathing suit and sunscreen! Registration will open July 12th and close July 19th.

 Royal Tea Party - July 30 - $7

We are requesting the honour of your presence at our par-tea! Formal wear is encouraged. Registration will open July 16th and close July 23rd.

Exploring Nature - July 31

Tiny Explorers, Big Adventures: Nature's Playground Awaits! Registration will open July 17th and close July 24th.

Get ready for a splashing good time at our Beach Day ! Sandy toes, endless giggles, and waves of fun await! Don’t forget your bathing suit. Registration will open July 18th and close July 25th.

Survivor - August 2

Movie Under the Stars - August 9

Join us for a family-friendly movie to celebrate another great summer in South Stormont! Donations will be accepted upon arrival. We will be showing the movie “Migration” from Illumination.

Minute to Win it - August 13

Petting Zoo- August 14 - $7

Calling all animal lovers! Join us for a day filled with furry friends and fun at our Kid's Petting Zoo Extravaganza! Registration will open July 31st and close August 7th.

Glow Dance - August 15 - $3

Get ready to shine bright like a diamond at our Glow Dance Spectacular! Let's light up the night with neon colors, groovy moves, and unforgettable memories. Wear clothing that can be stained (white shirt for maximum glow). Registration will open August 1st and close August 8th.

Join us for some fun in the sun! There will be a slip n' slide, bouncy castles, and more!

Let's have some skele-fun together! We have lots of tricks up our sleeves and treats for you to eat! Registration will open August 6th and close August 13th.

Paint Day- August 21 - $3

Brushes ready, imagination unleashed. Get ready to splash some colour, it’s PAINT DAY! Registration will open August 7th and close August 14th.
