- Thirteen students from Cornwall, SDG and Akwesasne are turning their business ideas into reality this summer through Ontario's Summer Company program.

Summer Company encourages students to start and run their own business. In return, participants receive $3,000 in start-up funding assistance along with hands-on coaching and mentoring from local business leaders.

Notably, 2 or these young entrepreneurs are residents of South Stormont, Mireille Girard and Nathan Whalley.

Mireille, has started a business called Editz which provides video and photo editing, VHS to DVD conversion, graphic design, slideshow creation and digital photo albums.
