The Township of South Stormont is proud to welcome Lactalis Canada (formerly Parmalat Canada) to our business community!

On July 2, 2019, Lactalis Canada’s purchase of Kraft Heinz’s Canadian natural cheese businesses closed. This includes the Kraft Heinz production facility in Ingleside. With that transaction, Lactalis Canada is now the largest employer in our Township. We are excited to work with the new owners to help with the transition to our community and help Lactalis Canada grow the Canadian dairy industry in South Stormont.

We look forward to Lactalis Canada becoming a major contributor not just to our local economy, but also to our community as a whole.

Please join us in welcoming one of Canada’s most innovative dairy companies to our Township and celebrating their investment and commitment to South Stormont.
