2019 Water and Wastewater Charges

Annually, the Township adjusts and approves water and wastewater rates based on the approved budget which considers operating and capital requirements.  Property taxes are not used to cover the costs to operate the water and wastewater systems and as such water and wastewater rates are set to cover the costs to operate the water and wastewater systems.  Increases have been applied to your water and wastewater charges in order to fund the current operating and capital costs for 2019 as well as to put a small amount aside in reserves for future costs.  Billings will continue to be done quarterly.  The increase for 2019 will impact the average household quarterly billing between $8.41 and $21.23, depending on your location and services received (i.e. water versus water and wastewater).
