Senior Fit

Get fit, have fun and make new friends in this Seaway Fitness offered program designed for older adults. 

Times: Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:15 a.m.

Balance for Life

A 12-week, twice per week, fall prevention workshop to provide seniors and older adults with an ipportunity to learn the skills needed to reduce their rish of falling as well as reduce the risk of harm related to a fall.  Individuals exercise in a group setting with the objective of improving balance, increase muscle strength and bone densityand overall wellbeing. 

This program is delivered by a Seaway Valley Community Health Centre (SVCHC) Certified Senior Fitness Instructor along with an Eastern Ontario Health Unit (EOHU) Health Promoter. Clients can self-refer, and there is no cost!

Ballroom Dancing for Fun

Couples learn simple figures to dance together at parties, receptions and public dances. Learn to dance rock and roll, Cha Cha, Mambo, Rumba, Waltz, Foxtrot, Samba, Bachata.

Friendly Circle Seniors Club

Spirits in Unity School of Horsemanship

Horse play for seniors, riding optional. Fitness for mind, body and soul with horses in this older adult recreation program.
