Due to concerns of the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Township of South Stormont has made the decision to cancel all township operated recreation programming and facility rentals as of March 14th, 2020. The cancellations will remain in place until at least April 5, 2020.

The South Stormont Parks and Recreation Department is proud to work with a variety of organizations and volunteers to offer a wide range of facilities and programs to serve both local residents and visitors looking for recreational activities.
Since the development of the Recreation Master Plan in October 2007, the Township has been focused on a number of strategic projects. The aim of these projects has been to preserve current facilities with timely renovations while enhancing recreational activities through the implementation of new programs and the construction of additional amenities. A number of these maintenance and new construction projects were made possible through the combined efforts of community support, provincial and federal grants, corporate donations, and tax dollars raised through annual municipal budgets.
South Stormont has a strong volunteer base with a commitment to offer a wide variety of activities and programs for those of all ages.
We invite you to spend some time with us and experience the many activities and programs that we have to offer.
